Second place award for our graduate student and her teammates
Within the scope of CP402 Planning Studio and RES508 Conservation Studio at Izmir Institute of Technology, our graduate student Merve Kasapoğlu, together with her teammates Hatice Taşdemir, Gizem Sever, Ayda Kalemci, and Beste Köken, developed the Alsancak Urban Conservation Project, which was awarded second place in the Urban and Regional Planning Students’ Graduation Project Competition organized by Atlas Planning.
Developed with a multidisciplinary approach, the project aims to present a holistic strategy that integrates urban conservation and risk management.
We congratulate our student, her esteemed teammates, and the studio instructors who contributed to the project, and we wish them continued success.
