We celebrated the retirement of our dear faculty member Prof. Dr. Başak İpekoğlu with the participation of our Rector, Prof. Dr. Yusuf Baran, our Dean Prof. Dr. Fehmi Doğan, Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Alper Baba, members of the Faculty and Board of Directors, faculty and administrative staff of our Department, Faculty and Institute. In addition to her academic studies, our professor, who is one of the founders of the department, has made valuable contributions to our faculty by serving as the head of the department for many years and also serving as the Dean. We are sure that our scientific and academic studies will always continue with her, Prof. İpekoglu is one of the outstanding professors in the field of architectural conservation in Turkiye.

We would like to thank our esteemed Professor for her contributions to IZTECH and Conservation and Restoration of Cultural Heritage Department for many years, and wish her a healthy and happy retirement.
