The 2026-2027 Academic Year Opening Ceremony of İzmir Institute of Technology was held.

During the ceremony, the “Best Course Design Awards” and the “Most Academic Publications Awards” recognizing academic staff for their achievements in the previous academic year were presented by our Rector, Prof. Dr. Yusuf Baran.

Prof. Dr. Hülya Yüceer, faculty member of our Department, received the “Most Academic Publications Award” in recognition of her academic contributions.

Res. Assist. Dr. Ayşen Etlacakuş in our Department, received first place in the “Best Course Design Award” category for the AR 404 Architectural Conservation Studio course.
